Immersive experiences and tours to Mongolia
Jess came to me via a recommendation from an existing client, Julian Elliott Photography. She wanted me to help with the site’s SEO.
Upon my initial review I saw that this wonderful little business and the website had huge potential, but was being let down by the website itself. Jess had already amassed a superb amount of content, with tons of great, useful articles and blogs on the site. This was reflected in its already high domain authority.
The downside though, the site structure was a mess. The layout and look was not that inspiring, and it was hard for users to navigate and find other great content after landing there from Google.
Additionally, it was not made clear that this was primarily a tour company, and looked more like a travel blog. There were no clear indications and calls to action for people to consider booking a tour to Mongolia after being inspired by an article they might have landed on.
My task, I set about completely redesigning the look and structure of site to make it more attractive, organised, easy to read or skim, easier to find information, and clearly show that this is a Mongolia travel company with relevant internal cross promotion of their tours and clear CTAs.
As most tours are customised, lead generation was key here. I made it easier for people to ask questions, or make enquiries by placing forms and contact CTAs in strategic places so it was always quick and easy for prospective clients to enquire or ask a quick question.
On the first day the new website was launched, Jess had an enquiry about a tailor made tour directly from that landing page, showing how well this strategy works.
